Pakistan High Commissioner & Deputy Commissioner Tours Unveiling Visions 2021

Pakistan High Commissioner to the Maldives, Vice Admiral Ather Mukhtar visits ‘Unveiling Visions 2021’ art exhibition at the National Art Gallery, Male’.

The exhibition organized by Maldives Artists Community showcases the mesmerizing art by the talented local artists of Maldives.

Touring the exhibition, Commissioner Mukhtar admired the art showcased at the exhibition, highlighting the importance of artists for the nation.

Accompanying the commissioner was Deputy Pakistan High Commissioner to the Maldives, Zulqurnain Ahmed and the President of Dhivehi Bahuge Academy, Dr. Ashraf Abdul Raheem.

Commissioner Mukhtar enjoyed the art presented at the gallery, describing the show pieces as inspiring and reflective for the art community of Maldives.

The art pieces on display, according to Commissioner Mukhtar, illustrate how the younger generation has been able to use their artistic pursuits to disseminate positive messages for societal well-being.

Painting, sculpture, literature, and other kinds of art, according to the Deputy High Commissioner Zulqurnain, are believed to be the reservoir of a society's collective memory.

Concluding the tour, both Commissioner’s thanked the artists for their dedication and effort put towards making incredible showcases in the artists community.
