MTCC Initiates Free Bus Travel Agenda To Local Islands

The free bus travel scheme initiated by Maldives Transport & Contracting Company (MTCC) has been a hit among the locals. It was first introduced to Male’ City and Hulhumale’ City.

From January 1^st onward, MTCC has introduced the free bus traveling scheme to the local islands of Maldives, giving the opportunity to school students, 65 years and older residents and special needs residents to travel for free in their home islands.

MTCC conducts bus services to Addu City Hithadhoo & Feydhoo as of now in Addu atoll. The company has announced that bus services to more islands are underway and will be starting in the near future.
