President Graces ‘Unveiling Visions 2021’ Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony of "Unveiling Visions 2021," an art exhibition organized by the Maldivian Artist Community and the National Center for the Arts, was attended by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Sunday, December 5th.

The art exhibition, solely dedicated for the local artist community in Maldives will be carried out until December 14th, 2021. The "Unveiling Visions 2021" Maldives Contemporary Art Exhibition, which features the works of 67 artists, is the largest art exhibition in the Maldives this year. The exhibition's goal is to bring together talented artists from across the country to showcase their work and earn exposure.

The art exhibition was inaugurated by the Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage, Yumna Maumoon. President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih visited the and toured the exhibition, viewing some of the arts on display. He also handed out prizes to the five winners of the "Most Vibrant Artists" category of the exhibition's competition. During the event, the Maldivian Artist Community presented the President with a painting.
