Participate in the Global Hour of Code Hosted By Women In Tech

Like last year, in celebration of Global Hour of Code, Women in Tech in association with the Ministry of Education is hosting this year’s ‘Hour of Code’ on December 18^th, 2021.

The Hour of Code is a global initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of students across the globe to one hour of computer science and computer programming. From December 6^th to 12^th, the worldwide movement takes place in 180 countries. A one-hour enjoyable introduction to computer programming is included in the curriculum for participants of all ages.

The main event will be held virtually through Google Meet while the Physical exercises will take place in different parts of the country simultaneously. If schools, institutes, civil organizations, or community groups desire, they can register to attend the session in person.

A team of mentors who have been particularly trained to lead the program will facilitate both physical and virtual lessons. The mentors will be trained and resources for running the sessions will be shared by the Hour of Code team.
