MET Office Warns Of Harsh Weather To Southern Maldives Today

The Maldives Meteorological Service has issued a yellow alert for the southern atolls of Maldives. The office warns the locals of thunderstorms and heavy rain for today where the wind is set to pick up to 40 miles per hour.

Even though the weather is predicted to overcome within the next 24 hours, the MET office warns the locals to take full precaution and to choose safety first during these harsh times.
Avoidable incidents have happened at sea during the past, hence its prioritized to take safety at its best.
