Make A Short Film And Stand A Chance To Win MVR 10k!

To commemorate 16 days of advocacy against gender-based violence, the Family Protection Authority, in partnership with the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services, is conducting a short film competition.

You can either participate in a group or take part as an individual in the competition but only if you meet the eligibility criteria.

·        18 years and above of age.
·        Maldivian or any foreigner residing in the Maldives during the competition period.
·        Priority would be given to individuals who partake in film/video making as a hobby. Should not be an individual/group that makes films/videos as a profession and/or should not be a registered business. 
·        Should be available to participate in a 2-day mandatory workshop during December 2021. 

A 2-day workshop is set to be conducted on Film Making, Gender concepts, Domestic or Gender Based Violence. Winners are entitled for a prize money with number one getting MVR 10k, 2^nd place getting MVR 7.5k and 3^rd place getting MVR 5k!

Interested parties can register before December 2^nd, 3pm.
