Managing Director Of Stelco, Hassan Mughnee Is Named At ACES Awards 2021.

State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) employs a large number of engineers who provide technical skills in a variety of fields and collaborate with the Maldives government on development projects. STELCO is the only company supplying renewable energy solutions to the domestic market with user-friendly payment facilities, thanks to its steadfast Managing Director, Hassan Mughnee.

The majority of STELCO's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs are aimed at improving the lives of the communities and islands where it operates. To this purpose, the power company holds an annual Apprenticeship Program with the goal of providing job options to the young of the Maldivian local communities.

As a result, the company takes pride in providing a wide range of learning and development opportunities for its personnel. Employees also get health and housing benefits, as well as a program that allows them to go on pilgrimages to Mecca. The President of the Maldives awarded STELCO the Riveli Award for giving the most employment opportunities to people with disabilities. It was also named to the World HRD Congress's list of "Dream Companies to Work For" in 2019.

Recently, STELCO has had, indisputably a very successful win for the Managing Director of STELCO, as Hassan Mughnee is named as one of ‘Asia’s Most Inspiring Executives’ at the ACES Awards 2021. Hassan is also the first Maldivian to score a win at this global event.
