A ceremony took place on November 18th at Ministry of Health Office Building where the Ministry contracted Maldives Transport & Contracting Company (MTCC) to build an OPD Sector at Hdh.Kulhudhuhfushi regional hospital in hopes of caring for more patients at a time.
At the ceremony, Minister of State for Health, Ahmed Adil signed on behalf of the ministry and the Chief Operating Officer of MTCC, Shahid Hussain signed on behalf of MTCC. With this development in place, the hospital will be able to further develop their patient care system and will be able to accommodate more patients at a time for the region.
Scope of works include, construction of a single story OPD Building. The OPD Building includes 21 Consultancy Rooms, 1 Treatment Room, 1 Procedure Room, 1 ECG Room and 1 ECHO Room. The value of the project is MVR 20.22 million and the project is to be completed within 180 days.
