RDC Signs Contract To Develop Roads In N.Velidhoo

At a ceremony held on November 15^th, Ministry of National Planning, Housing & Infrastructure Contracts Road Development Cooperation to develop the roads of N.Velidhoo Island. The contract was signed by the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Zeeniya Ahmed and the Managing Director of Road Development Cooperation, Moosa Ali.

The Road Development Project of N.Velidhoo is to be completed within 450 days. The main scope of works in the project includes, the development of tar roads of 5km around the island, the development of drainage system in the roads, an installment of street lights in the roads being developed. The project is estimated to be worth MVR 88.5 million.
