BML Celebrates Their Anniversary With A Run And A Generous Donation For Charity

Bank of Maldives has been holding BML Staff Charity since 2017 annually, where the staff of the bank host events for different courses in hopes of giving back to the community. This year, the bank held a Staff Charity Run in which the banks’ employees and members of the Board of Directors participated in the run with donations to charitable organizations.

Following the run, a generous donation of MVR 80,000 was presented to the Maldivian Deaf Association where they will be able to hold sign language courses and Beautiful Eyes Syndrome Association where they will be able to train 30 behavioral therapists for their work nationwide.

Expressing his gratitude, the CEO and Managing Director of BML, Tim Sawyer thanked their customers for their continued loyalty and to their employees who continue to be a part of change that sets an example to other organizations. Tim was also delighted to be resuming the Staff Charity Run and through it, raise funds to support courses benefiting the community.
