Mr. Darren Williams to Lead MACL as New COO

Mr. Darren Williams has been appointed as the new Chief Operations Officer at the Maldives Airports Company Limited.  
 
The appointment comes at a time when the tourism industry in the Maldives is aiming for a new high, and Mr. Williams will be responsible in his role to ensure that all Airport Operations continuously improve. His experience of over two decades will be monumental in enhancing the Operational Efficiency and Standards of Customer Service at the airport.  
 
His last role had Mr. Williams managing one of the busiest airports in the world, at Dubai International Airport for the last decade. Additionally, his contributions have greatly added value to Aberdeen International Airport and London Stansted International Airport in the U.K. British helicopter operating company, Babcock Mission Critical Services Offshore is also a part of Mr. Williams impressive portfolio.  
 
MACL believes that this is a fantastic addition to the company. With likes of some of the most reputed airports around the world in his extensive list of experiences, Mr. Williams hopes to pass on his knowledge to the wider MACL Airport Operations staff. He will also work closely with our Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT) team, to ensure the readiness of our New Terminals and Airside Operations as MACL rolls out its ambitious expansion plans.
