IGMH Issues Token Numbers For The First 300 Outpatients For Blood Tests

Indra Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) is the largest governmental healthcare facility in the country, providing tertiary level healthcare with specialist referral services to both domestic and foreign patients. Along with special consultations, IGMH houses modern investigative and emerging technologies in diagnosis, providing efficient patient-centered healthcare.

However, even the most advanced technological machines have technical outbreaks that has to be manually corrected by technicians. Such an incident has occurred in the Alinity cl-machine that is used for outpatient blood tests in the IGMH laboratory.

In a recent statement made by IGMH, the hospital has announced the issuing of blood samples to the first 300 patients starting from 8am today and the blood tests can be done in any of the Vinavi authorized centers in the capital cities as well. The hospital also mentioned that the laboratory services will resume to normal once the machines are fixed.
