A Group Of 14 Youth Set Off To India Under The Youth Exchange Program

The trip arranged by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, India and Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports and Community Empowerment, Maldives was previously held in 2018. During the visit to India, the youth team will be visiting different states and cities of India like New Delhi, Udaipur and Agra where they will visit different historical places and tourist sites.

The team will be taking a tour of an agricultural university, meeting up with scientists and seeing the latest innovations in agriculture. Furthermore, the youth group will also be visiting the Institution of Management where they will meet up with the business managers, researchers and scholars to learn more of business startup ecosystem.

The team is also set to be visiting The Children’s Orphanage and NGO’s of Women Empowerment. A presentation of Maldives, and the youth development and events held for youth will also be taking place during their trip. Before the team departed, they had met up with Chargé d'affaires of Indian High Commission, Rohit Ratheesh.
