BML Rises to Support Cancer Awareness in 6th Consecutive Year

 
‘Pink Ribbon Run-Walk' by Cancer Society of Maldives receives a generous donation of MVR 150,000 from its firm supporter, Bank of Maldives.  
 
BML has risen to the occasion once again to continue its support to CSM to raise awareness on breast cancer and to promote active lifestyles in Maldives. The donation by BML will be allocated to provide psychosocial support to cancer patients and their families in addition to the awareness campaign. As part of the partnership, CSM conducted free cancer screenings for the Bank’s staff. Information sessions will also be held for staff on the importance of regular examinations to ensure early detection. 

 
Similar to last year, this year’s event is being held virtually through an online platform due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Participants from across the country can register through the website in addition to making donations to CSM.
