Introducing BML’s New Board Directors

New Directors have been appointed to the Board of Directors at Bank of Maldives. the announcements were made in the Bank’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on Thursday morning.  
 
Ms. Aishath Sajnee, Tharividhaage, S. Hithadhoo was nominated by the Government and appointed to the Board of Directors. In addition, Mr. Abdulla Naseem, Karankaa Villa, H.A. Filladhoo was elected by public shareholders and appointed to the Board.  
 
The new Directors nominated by the Government and appointed to the Board are: 

  1. Mr. Timothy Sawyer (Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director)  
  2. Ms. Aishath Noordeen, M. Thaangeedhoshuge 
  3. Mr. Yooshau Saeed, H. Sandy Beach 
  4. Ms. Juwairiya Saeed, Ma. Kosheege 
  5. Mr. Abdulla Hassan, Naseemaa Manzil, R. Alifushi 
  6. Mr. Abdulla Husam Shareef, Dhiguvaandu, Savaa, Gn. Fuvahmulah
