National Football Team wins 6-nil Against Kulhudhuffushi Football Team

 
Yesterday afternoon, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih made his way to Kulhudhuffushi City to participate in the activities held to celebrate National Youth Day 2021. In 2019, President Solih declared October 22 as the National Youth Day in line with it being the day the Act enabling Maldivian citizens aged 18 and above were given voting rights.  
 
President Solih was joined by a delegation of cabinet ministers and senior officials of the government on this trip.  
 
In the late afternoon of yesterday, a special ceremony was held for President Solih to inaugurate the upgraded football field developed in Kulhudhuffushi City. Now laid with modern artificial turf by Velocity Sports Equipment, the subbase work of the field was completed by RKL Group Pvt Ltd. 
 
A friendly football match between the Maldives National Football Team and Kulhudhuffushi Football Team was played, with the National team winning game 6-nil.
