Being one of the largest employers in the Maldives, Bank of Maldives have been serving customers for almost 4 decades now. During this time, the bank has had the generous dedication and commitment of loyal employees who have displayed professionalism and excellence to their customers.
In a special ceremony held at the Manhattan Business Hotel last night, BML has recognized 61 employees with honour and awards for their loyalty of 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years.
CEO of BML, Tim Sawyer remarked, “Tonight, we are proud to celebrate your dedication and commitment to the Bank. Thank you for touching the lives of our customers every day and working so hard with professionalism and commitment to excellence. It is indeed an honour to give due recognition and celebrate your role”.
The longest serving employees recognized last night were Ms. Zulfa Mohamed, Customer Service Manager (cover pic), who has been with BML for 35 years now; and Ms. Shamsiyya Ibrahim, Head of Customer Processing (inside pic) who has served the Bank for 30 years.
BML prides in its 99% local staff base, and aims to continue implementing forward looking human resource policies to ensure the highest professional standards of employee recruitment, development, and reward.
