Government Ready to Support Graduates’ Ambitions, Says President

President Solih has promised the Government’s commitment to fully support all students’ ambition to excel in their choice of field. He made the statement at the the official awarding ceremony for A-Level Top Achievers of 2019 held at Thaajuddeen School last night.

Encouraging the now graduates to make full use of the higher education and training opportunities offered to them by the government, in the Maldives or abroad, and fulfil their dreams in their field of choice, President Solih said that this is a crucial crossroad in their life. He also advised them to align their goals with the fast pace of today's world, utilising modern technology and science for innovation and out-of-the-box thinking to create openings and develop themselves in professions that hold their interest.

Even though President Solih attended the ceremony as the guest of honor, he named all the award winners as the true guests of honor at the ceremony. He expressed humble gratitude and pride in their esteemed wins, and congratulated the educators and parents for being a contributing part of the journey.

First Lady Fazna Ahmed and Vice President Faisal Naseem accompanied the President in conferring certificates and awards to the top achievers at tonight's ceremony.
