Manta Air is the baby amongst all local airlines operating in Maldives. Nonetheless, they are definitely a game changer for being the first local airline offering premium services to its passengers – in other words, a five-star airline. They aim to become your preferred flying buddy through seamless, reliable and hospitable services on-board.
Yesterday, the airline was pleased to announce that they have resumed flight operations to Kudahuvadhoo in Dhaalu Atoll. As per the airline, they will be operating four flights a week from Velana International Airport to Dhaalu Airport. However, they note flight frequency is subject to increase based on demand. The airline further assures that safety measures have been enhanced in their flights in accordance with the set standards by relevant authorities.
The airline met the same fate as many others this year by having to cease operations due to the widespread of coronavirus in the country resulting the movement restrictions. Prior to this, Manta Air was operating flights to three destinations inclusive of Kudahuvadhoo in Dhaalu Atoll, the remaining two being; Dharavandhoo in Baa Atoll and Kooddoo in Gaafu Alifu Atoll. When travel restrictions were lifted, the airline only commenced operations of seaplanes to accommodate tourists travelling to local resorts, thus, resuming their domestic passenger operations is marked as a grand return.
Nevertheless, its normal operations to other domestic routes still remains suspended whereas the airline has not shared any information on the matter.
