BML Saves You the Hassle, Now You Can Set or Change Your PIN via Internet Banking!

It truly is the era of digitalization! Bank of Maldives Plc (BML) has informed via a press release today that they have introduced digital pin. With this, the Bank’s customers can now instantly set or change their PIN for their debit, credit, and prepaid cards via internet banking.

The introduction of digital pin will save the hassle of personally visiting the Bank cancelling out processing and waiting periods and also the use of papers. Additionally, it effectively eliminates the process of PIN postal services offered by the Bank for customers overseas. It is also extremely ideal in this period of time with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in the country.

According to BML, the introduction of digital pin is part of their broader plan on the digitization of their services. They highlight some of their strides in reference to the introduction of numerous online banking services including internet banking registration and online queuing for the very first time.

The Bank was also pleased to share a video guide on their twitter for customers as a helping hand in familiarizing themselves with the process of this newly introduce service.
