Clique College Adventure Club Goes Exploring South Ari Atoll

Long weekends call for a long getaway but responsibilities keeping you at bay? At Clique College, even responsibilities take a planned break with the Adventure Club making it their mission to make sure the team is well entertained on occasion.

Last weekend, the club gathered for an exciting weekend away to the pristine South Ari Atoll, stopping at Maamigili and Dhigurah.

The adventure-goers landed at Maamigili on day one and did not need even a moment to relax before they hit the full gear on rolling with the itinerary. I would not have either, as the Whale Shark Point in the vicinity was calling for an irresistible snorkel in the sun! They had their breath taken away at the sight of this majestic marine giants.

Upon return back to the island, the group consisting of club members and college staff spent the night cheering for the Maldives National Football Team at the SAFF Championship 2021. They were hosted at Palm Trees Maamigili guesthouse for their stay.

Excitement was on a high the next day too as the team set sail to the next stop at Dhigurah. Immersing into the local island vibes, the team spent most of the day exploring the island and mingling with the local lifestyle of the islanders. Dhigurah Retreat Beach took care of all the needs of their stay with excellent hospitality.

The last night of the trip was perfect for the BBQ and team-building activities that kept the students up way past bed time, but it was worth it!
