Every Airline On the Way to Rediscover Maldives!

Since the travel ban to Maldives was restricted, a number of airlines has resumed operations to the country in which they have also gradually increased flight frequency to accommodate the rising demand of tourists seeking to visit the safe haven. In this regard, here are some latest updates on flight operations and frequencies scheduled to Maldives by numerous airlines specifically for the holiday season.

Emirates Airline: A key airline flying in tourists to Maldives from the Middle East and the largest airline belonging to the state of United Arab Emirates (UAE) was one of the first airlines resuming operations to Maldives. The airline is set to begin a new frequency in which they will operate a total number of 10 flights per week to Velana International Airport starting from 25th October, which will be scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays.

Aeroflot: From 26th October, this Russian airline will be increasing its flight frequency to Maldives from 2 flights per week to 4 flights per week, shedulded to fly on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.

Austrian Airlines: For the holiday season, Austrian Airlines will be resuming flight operations to Maldives starting from 25th October in addition to 60 other destinations.

Air Seychelles: The national airline of the Republic of Seychelles on the other hand is set to recommence direct flights to Maldives, also for the holiday season which is scheduled on every Friday night during the period of 4th December 2020 and 9th January, 2021.

GoAir: This Indian budget airline will also be resuming direct flights to Male’ from the cities of Bangalore, New Deli and Mumbai.
