MTCC Takes Charge of Design and Build of Shore Protection Structures in A.Dh. Kunburudhoo

In a ceremony held at the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company has signed off on the project for developing shore protection structures in the island of A.Dh. Kunburudhoo.  
 
COO of MTCC, Shahid Hussain Moosa and Permanent Secretary of MNPHI, Zeeniya Hameed signed on the agreement, allocating 150 days for the completion of the project.  
 
Within its scope, MTCC will be dredging and excavation operations for the construction of a 170m revetment and a 57m supporting quay wall on the harbor. Leading up to the quay, a 9m x 9m ramp will be constructed, and 250sqm harbor pavement will be built too. To complete the area construction, MTCC will also be carrying out the installation of harbor lights. 
 
The project is valued at MVR 9.61 million.
