Dengue Cases Reported in the Past Three Years Significantly Decreased

Latest statistics of the health situation among the general public shows a significant decrease in cases of Dengue reported over the past three years.  
 
Health Protection Agency states that the number of Dengue cases reported in the past two months were below 20. It is essential to take preventive measures such as covering up at dawn and sunset specifically, using mosquito repellants and getting rid of places where water could collect and store for mosquito breeding.  
 
On the other hand, cases of Flu have risen given the pandemic as well, up to almost 12000 cases being reported in August 2021 alone. It is important to practice hand hygiene and safe coverage of mouth and nose while sneezing or coughing. Do not dispose of used tissues in the open; instead, throq them away in closed off garbage bags. Since the pandemic is still prevalent, wear masks while outside at all times for added safety.  
 
Cases of Diarrhea, Chicken Pox, and Pink Eye has not shown any significant decrease in numbers, states the report. Make sure food hygiene is always a priority to stay away from Diarrhea and rest with adequate intake of fluids if infected. It is advised to stay home if possible when sick.
