OZONE2CLIMATE ART CONTEST 2021 is afoot!

16th of September proclaimed as the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, or better known as World Ozone Day. To commemorate the event, UNEP Ozone has organized a Regional Ozone2Climate Art Contest open to applicants from the Maldives in celebration of World Ozone Day 2021.

Ozone2Climate is a platform to facilitate the Asia Pacific Regional Ozone2Climate Art Contest. It is the entry platform to register for the art contest, upload art work, and provide support and assistance to the participants of the art contest to promote Ozone2Climate issues, such as the linkage of ozone layer and climate change protection under the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer as well as the achievements made under the Montreal Protocol from the regional collaboration of Asia-Pacific countries for the complete ban of Chlorofluorocarbon (CFCs), phasing out of Hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFCs), and phasing down of Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).

The Ozone2Climate Art Contest is organized to promote the linkage of ozone layer and climate change protection, as well as achievements made under the Montreal Protocol and push outreach for continuous mobilization of public support on the phase-out of ozone depleting substances (ODS) and phase-down of potent greenhouse gases, hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).
