National Football Teams Secure BML Backing as Exclusive Official Sponsor

In a special ceremony held at the National Football Stadium earlier today, Bank of Maldives has retained its proud position as the Official Exclusive Sponsor of the National Senior Men’s, Senior Women’s, and Youth Football teams of the Maldives. The Bank will also be the Official Banking Partner of SAFF Championship 2021. 
 
Signed and agreed upon by BML CEO and Managing Director, Tim Sawyer and FAM President, Bassam Adeel Jaleel, the sgreement secures continued support and backing by BML to the teams. Football is indeed a main sport in the country, one that has represented Maldives in multiple international platforms as well. 
 
“We are delighted to renew our partnership at an exciting period in time for football in the Maldives. In addition to supporting the national teams’ achievements on the international stage, we remain committed to playing an important part in developing young football talent in the country.” Said Tim, wishing the teams good luck for the upcoming SAFF Championship.
