WAMCO has further stated that DCard service given to customers who are allowed to self-dispose of the waste at WAMCO Male Waste Transfer Station will be discontinued from September 15 onwards. The site is closing down for upgrades.
Waste collection services will be carried out in the following times across Greater Male Region.
Male – 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Villimale – 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Hulhumale – 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Male City Council banned the disposal of waste on the roadside hence, WAMCO reminds the public to refrain from doing so. It is also the responsible thing to keep in mind the safety and hygiene while gathering waste for collection.
If you have not registered for waste disposal services at WAMCO, do so the soonest. Additional information is available on the WAMCO hotline 1666.
