Minister Imran Reflects On Works Being Done For The Future Of Policing In Maldives

Speaking at the opening ceremony of N.Maafaru Police Station, Minister of Home Affairs, Imran Abdulla advises everyone to work together to build a happy and safe society. 

Minister Imran highlighted the on-going projects by the Ministry, the President’s plan to open a police station in all the islands of the Maldives within the next three years, and the safety of all citizens being the number one priority of the government. 

Furthermore, Ministry Imran listed the future developments for Policing. Instead of the 7 divisions, there will be 5 regionals with commanders and other senior officials making it easier to make urgent and immediate decisions which will also help in boosting the citizens confidence in Police Officers.
