The 24-hours Fleet Run Kick Starts In Hulhumale’

In celebrations of Maldives’ 56th Independence Day, Maldives National Defense Forces’ Coastguards hosted “24-hours Fleet Run” that started on August 27th 2021. The run is taking place in Hulhumale’ City. 

The opening ceremony before the run was joined by Defense Minister, Mariya Ahmed Didi, Chief of Defense Force, Major General, Abdul Shamal, Vice Chief of Defense Force, Brigadia General Abdul Raheem Abdul Latheef and other senior officials.  

The senior officials from MNDF and Coastguard participated in the run where over 200 defense corps and coast guards participated. This purpose of this run is to develop a close friendship and bond between the working personals in coast guard and the defense forces.
