Greater Male’ Connectivity Bridge Contract To Be Signed This Thursday

As one of the promises made by the President, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, the new Greater Male’ Connectivity Bridge connecting Male’ – Villimale’ – Thilafushi – Gulhifalhu will be underway soon after the signing of the contract between Afcons Infrastructure Company and the Maldivian government on Thursday, August 26^th – 11am at a ceremony that will be held in Hotel Jen.

Afcons Infrastructure Company is an Indian Engineering Company based in Mumbai. The company already has an on-going project in Addu City where the road development and land reclamation is underway.

The Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has started the surveys and architectural planning’s whilst MTCC has started the area protection of where the bridge connectivity will take place from Gulhifalhu.
