Pfizer Vaccines Available For Vaccinations For Certain Categories In Population

 
As per the latest announcement made by HPA, children between the ages of 12 to 17 years, pregnant women, citizens with low immune system and citizens over the age of 60 years who have not received any type of vaccinations for COVID are eligible for Pfizer vaccines.

Citizens who will be accounted as low immune system are those who have changed a body part, citizens with auto immune disease, cancer patients, citizens who use steroids for a long period, thalassemic patients, sickle cell anemia patients, citizens doing dialysis and patients with long time diseases.

From August 25^th onwards, Pfizer vaccines will be available at Male’ Art Gallery (from 9am to12pm and 1pm to 4pm), Hulhumale’ Hospital (1pm to 4pm) and Villimale’ Youth Center (from 1pm to 4pm).

HPA urges all the eligible citizens to get the vaccines at the earliest before the new guidelines for unvaccinated citizens start from September 1^st onwards.
