Maldives Islamic Bank has introduced financial aid opportunities for students studying with the Islamic University of the Maldives. In a ceremony held at the Islamic University yesterday, the Memorandum of understanding was signed by Vice Chancellor of IUM Dr. Ibrahim Zakariyya Moosa and Chief Finance Officer of MIB Ali Wasif.
As part of the understanding, finance arranged under the charity fund will be managed by IUM. The scheme is aimed to ease the financial aid facility for students of IUM, and any student eligible for the Zakat Fund facility can apply under this scheme.
The signing ceremony was attended by Deputy Vice Chancellors and senior officials of IUM.
