Former President Nasheed Appoints British QC To Represent Him Against Terror Attack

The Speaker for the People’s Majilis and the Ex-President of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed has appointed British QC of Doughty Street Chambers in London, Kirsty Brimelow, to represent him and work alongside the criminal investigation into the terrorist attack that took place in May 2021 against Nasheed.

British QC, Kirsty will be using her expertise in evidence gathering and application of national and Internation law in partnership with national and international law enforcement and lawyers to bring the justice for the undeserved terrorist attack on Nasheed.

Mohamed Nasheed expressed his thoughts on the justice system being a crucial part of democracy and extended his faith on Kirsty to guide the investigation towards a fair justice.
