Japan Gifts Vision and Hearing Screener To Maldives Autism Association

Japan has always been a helpful hand to Maldives ever since 1996. They have helped us get through many difficulties that we faced as a growing country through-out the years. Strengthening the bond between two countries, recently Japan had gifted machines worth over MVR 600,000.00 to the Maldives Autism Association.

The Project for Provision of Vision and Hearing Screener detects the defects of hearing and vision in infants. Which will help in getting the treatments quicker in infants and have higher chances of getting better as they grow older.

During the ceremony held at Hulhumale’ Autism Association, the ambassador of Japan in Maldives, Kaiko Yanai proudly handed over the machines under the grant that was signed on December 12th with Autism Associations’ CEO, Dr.Ismail Shafeeu.
