Local Artists Are Ready to Unveil Their Talents at the ‘Unveiling Visions – 2020’
Maldivian Artist Community (MAC), a non-governmental organization, is the proud host of the most hyped contemporary art exhibition of the year, ‘Unveiling Visions – 2020’. This marks the 4th consecutive year this event has been held since inception on 2017. Not only is it the most hyped local art exhibition, it is also the one which facilitates the most number of participants. Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment along with National Centre for the Arts (NCA) will be supporting MAC in this endeavour.
‘Unveiling Vision- 2020’ is more astounding compared to the past as it will commence with highest number of participants since its beginning. 70 spectacular local artists will be showcasing their art in 7 different categories. Artworks to be displayed at the exhibition is disclosed to have been created using contemporary art techniques.
The exhibition will take place from 23rd October to 29th October at the National Art Gallery which will be open for visitors from 10am to 9:30pm. No fees will be charged for entrance.
Since the spike of corona virus in the Greater Male’ Area and its recovery, this is the most extensive art event which will take place. As a devoted art enthusiast, I, myself am already eager to step foot into this exhibition. Would you join me?
