Fire Breaks Out In MA. Amtation, Burns the Venue Beyond Use

An emergency call was made to Maldives National Defense Force, Fire & Rescue department last night after smoke was seen from a house located in Mahchangoalhi of Male’ City. In a tweet, MNDF detailed that the call was made at 1945HRS last night and they were able to put out the fire at 2004HRS. 

 
As per details released by the department, the fire burned out in a bedroom destroying the sofa, mattress and the wardrobe. The family in distress that was affected by the fire, was supported by National Disaster Management Authority of Maldives where they received MVR 7,800.00 as relief support to help them with the temporary housing, food, clothes and other necessities.
