Male’ City Council Commences the Removal Of Old And Unused Vehicles In The Streets Of Male’

A survey was done on June 22nd to June 27th by the Male’ City Council in which it showed a total of 159 vehicles disposed and unused in the streets of Male’.  
 
In partnership with Maldives Police Service, Male’ City council will start the project in clearing these disposed and unused vehicles in order to make more available parking spaces and to provide easier walking paths for people travelling on foot. 
 
As per the parking violations and guidelines, the council will not be responsible for the damages caused in these vehicles while transporting. 
 
Male’ City council has also started on a new project in which they will be checking the garages and owner information regarding the new vehicles being registered.
