Hello, Vacation! You Can Now Travel to Over 100 Destinations with Qatar Airways

Renowned multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways, never fails to surprise anyone in their commitment towards linking the world via its network. At the end of a year where the aviation world has been crushed by the impacts unfolding due to the coronavirus pandemic; meddling with flight schedules, decrease in demand, travel restrictions, etc., Qatar Airways was pleased to announce resumption of their services to a total of 100 destinations effective of 16th October 2020.

As per the airline, they have resumed flights to the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, flying via Bucharest which is scheduled to operate three times a week. It was reported earlier that they hope to expand their network for over 125 destinations by the end of the year. The Chief Executive of Qatar Airways Group, Mr. Akbar Al Baker also stated that the airline is working not only to expand their network, but also to increase its flight frequencies.

During the peak period of the pandemic, they were operating to merely 30 destinations owing to the decrease in demand as well as the travel restrictions imposed by countries.

Maldives lifted travel bans to the country on July. Qatar Airways have resumed flights to the country shortly afterwards and presently holds the title as the airline carrying the most number of tourists into the country.
