You asked for it, and Ooredoo did it. Registrations for the Ooredoo Atholhu Dhuvun 2021 has been extended until the end of Saturday, July 31, 2021. The online portal is open FREE for enthusiasts from around the archipelago.
Each runner will receive a digital bib and a confirmation message with a unique URL. Once registered, you stand a chance to win an Atholhu Dhuvun T-Shirt by sharing your virtual bib on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Don't forget to include the tag #OoredooAtholhuDhuvun to be included.
This year, there are two categories up for participation – 5 km and 10 km, and if you really like to run, you can participate in both (separate registration) too. Participation is accepted as individuals or groups. The best part is that you can run from anywhere, anytime between August 1 –7 and complete the distance.
Screenshots of recorded run stats on the apps Strava, Garmin Connect, Runtastic, Nike Run Club and Runkeeper can be uploaded on the unique URL to claim the digital medal. If you wish to receive a physical medal to add to your collection, just upgrade and have it delivered to your doorstep, anywhere in the Maldives!
Ooredoo is excited to welcome all the runners onboard this first-of-its-kind virtual running event so hurry up, registration closes in two days.
