Minister Shahid Sets Off To Bulgaria on an Official Visit

On an official visit to Bulgaria, Minister of Foreign Affairs and President elect of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Abdulla Shahid will be accompanied by High Commissioner of Maldives to the UK, Dr. Farahanaz Faizal and Third Secretary at the High Commission of Maldives to the UK, Mariyam Afnaan. 

The visit will take part from July 27th to 29th. In this visit, Minister Shahid will be meeting the Foreign Minister, Svetlan Hristov Stoev, Minister of Tourism of Bulgaria and other senior officials from the Government of Bulgaria. 
 
Minister Shahid hopes to hold bilateral talks in finding mutual cooperation to fortify the existing bilateral relations between both the countries. He will also be shining light in finding more combined efforts to cooperate in various sectors between Bulgaria and Maldives. 
 
Furthermore, Minister Shahid will share his vision for his Presidency of Hope and discuss his priorities for the 76th Session of UNGA.
