MTCC CEO, Adam Azim Overseas Two of the Biggest Ongoing Projects At Hdh.Ihavandhoo

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company CEO, Adam Azim, and team has inspected two of the ongoing remarkable projects at Hdh.Ihavandhoo, which are the Integrated National Public Ferry Network Project and Ha.Ihavandhoo Harbor Development Project. 

 
MTCC has always aimed to connect the islands and atolls of Maldives via a high-speed ferry network. The Ihavandhoo Ferry Terminal is a terminal to be established under the Phase 1 of the Integrated National Public Ferry Network Project. This project has three phases. Phase 1 covers Zone 1, which is Ha. Hdh. and Sh. Atolls. Not only will this bring reliable and sustainable ferry services, but it will also bring a convenient and affordable ferry services to all the administrative islands of the country.  

 
Valuing to a sum of MVR 51.7 million, the harbor development project includes dredging and excavation operations of 30,509cbm, the construction of a 95m quay wall, a 284m breakwater, and a 178m revetment. Additionally, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights and construction of 4,582sqm of paved area will also be undertaken.
