Foreign Minister, Abdullah Shahid Departs to India On A Official Visitation As The UN President

Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid is on an official visit to India from July 21, 2021, onwards. He made his visit to India, New Delhi as the newly elected President of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly. 

Member of Parliament, Hussain Shaheem, and the Joint Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs also attended the meeting along with Minister Shahid.  

During the visit, Minister Shahid will meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. S. Jaishankar. Foreign Secretary of India Harsh Vardhan Shringla has also anchored the Minister.  

Minister Shahid will deliver the 38th Sapru House Lecture at the Indian Council of World Affairs on July 23, 2021. The topic is on the “Presidency of Hope 76th UNGA: COVID Pandemic and the need for reformed multilateralism”.
