Road works officially commenced by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih in Hanimaadhoo

HEP Ibrahim Mohamed Solih officially commenced the physical asphalt laying work of Hdh. Hanimaadhoo Road Project at a special function held in Hdh. Hanimaadhoo on July 18, 2021.  

Minister of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure Mohamed Aslam, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Shahid, Minister of Health, Ahmed Naseem, and the CEO of MTCC, Adam Azim has also participated in the event.  

The scope of the project includes laying asphalt on 20 major roads totaling 44000 sqm with road markings, construction of sidewalks, and stormwater management system. 
 
The whole project holds a value of MVR 71.9 million.  

 The event was graced by Government dignitaries and the residents of Hdh. Hanimaadhoo.
