Is Your Proposal A Selected Winner of ‘Aharenge Bank Community Fund – Second Quarter’?

Aharenge Bank Community Fund’ is a nationwide campaign instigated by the largest local bank operating in the Maldives; Bank of Maldives Plc. (BML) The campaign is intended to empower local individuals to contribute to their communities by way of sustainable projects. Accordingly, the Bank is set to fund successful proposals for 20 community-based projects falling under the themes of education. environment, sports and community development. Each winning proposal will be awarded for MVR 50,000 as fininancial aid for the implementation stage of the projects.
The campaign was formulated to be administered in 3 quarters during this year whereas proposals will be accepted for each quarter separately. Quarter 1 was completed earlier this year, in June. Today, the Bank was pleased to announce the winning 5 proposal under Quarter 2, which are as follows;

·    Support for Waste Management System at Kinolhas in Raa Atoll
·    Establishment of a Community Area at Goidhoo in Baa Atoll
·    Water Supply for School via Reverse Osmosis Water Plants at Kolamaafushi in Gaafu Alifu Atoll
·    Establishment of a Nature Park Accompanied with Solar Light at Nadella in Gaadu Dhaal Atoll
·    Donation of Books to the Public Library at Fuvahmulah in Gnaviyani Atoll

The Bank is yet to open applications for the Quarter 3 of ‘Aharenge Bank Community Fund’. In this last Quarter, BML will be selecting 10 winning proposals; so you still have the chance to score MVR 50,000 for your creative sustainable project ideas.
