Minister Shahid Delivered A Speech At The Opening Ceremony Of The Indo-Pacific Business Summit.

Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid spoke today at the opening session of the Indo-Pacific Business Summit as a guest of honor. Minister Shahid emphasized the strategic importance of the Indo-Pacific region and the important role of Maldives in assuring a region of stability, security and prosperity.  

Summit hosted by Confederation of Indian Industry will hold focused sessions over the course of three days including participation of Governments, Enterprises, Business Chambers, Think Tanks and Academia from countries across the region. This summit is being held virtually from July 6, 2021, to July 8, 2021.   

Dr. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of India, delivered an opening speech. Ministers from the region attended the meeting.
