Medical Team Of The Bangladesh Armed Forces Takes Leave After Their Unwavering Support Throughout The Covid Pandemic In Maldives.

Bangladesh Armed Forces medical team deployed by Bangladesh government to help Maldives against Covid19 pandemic arrived to the Maldives at the request of the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. A team of medical professionals arrived in the Maldives on March 3, 2021, to assist in the “Covid-19 Dhifaau” national vaccination program.  

During their time in the Maldives, the team worked alongside Maldivian health professionals, providing professional expertise and support for vaccination in greater Male’. One of the major protocols used by the Maldivian government is to make the Covid19 vaccine equally accessible to all Maldivian citizens and migrant workers, regardless of their legal status. 

The government of Maldives expresses their heartful gratitude to the consistent support wholeheartedly to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Foreign Minister Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen, the Government, and the Bangladesh Armed Forces.
