HPA Changes Covishield Vaccination Procedure Again, Now You Have to ‘Save the Date’!

Yesterday, HPA commenced the administration of Covishield vaccines. It was carried out on a limited token basis. Effective today, July 6, 2021, Covishield second dose will only administered through online appointments booked on the dedicated website. Vaccination centers will not make appointments.  
 
At this time, you can only book your appointment if you live in Greater Malé Area and received your first dose of the Covishield vaccine in February or March of 2021. Currently, no reservations can be made if you are residing out of Male’, received a vaccine other than Covishield and received your first dose of Covishield after March of 2021. It is necessary to ensure that accurate information including the ID card, passport number and mobile number is entered correctly.  
 
Reschedule your appointment if you are in quarantine or isolation, tested positive for covid within the past 28 days and if you are unwell or had fever within the 24 hours. 
 
Vaccination centers in Greater Malé Area will be open every week from Saturday to Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
