Covishield Vaccine To Be Administered On Appointment Basis

After giving appointments, beginning on July 4, 2021, those who had their first dose of Covishield vaccine would receive their second dosage. Appointments would be given by prioritizing people who received their first dose of Covishield the earliest.  

People who received their first dose in February 2021 will be contacted by HPA in order to receive their second dose starting today. It is important for people who get appointments to come to the allocated centers on time. 

In addition, first and second doses of the Sinopharm vaccines would be administered in Senahiya and Tree top Hospital. 1st dose is for people over the age of 18 who has not yet received any vaccines and after 3 weeks following the first dose, the second dose can be given. 

Before going to get vaccinated, there are a few things to consider; 

• To bring ID card or any formal document which illustrates yourself 
• Vaccine card 
• To have a nourishing meal before getting the vaccine 
• Have your own water bottle 
• Showing no symptoms of covid19
