18 Slots for A Fully-Funded Scholarship Under Therapeutic Scholarship Scheme Up for Grabs!

The Therapeutic Scholarship Scheme for 2021 has been announced by the MInistry of Education and there are currently 18 slots up for grabs.  
 
The awardees will be granted a government-funded (all expenses covered) scholarship at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Naseema Institute of Speech and Hearing in India. The expenses covered include return tickets, stipend, establishment allowance, book allowance, course fee and insurance.  
 
Courses available are: 
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy – 7 slots at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India 
Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology – 11 slots at Naseema Institute of Speech and Hearing, Bangalore, India 
 
Students who apply from 7 key areas will be given priority for selection: 

• H.Dh. Atoll Regional Hospital, H.Dh. Kulhudhuffushi 
• R. Atoll Regional Hospital, R. Ungoofaaru 
• L. Gan Regional Hospital, L. Gan 
• Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital, G.Dh. Thinadhoo 
• Addu Equatorial Hospital, S. Hithadhoo 
• Fuvahmulah Hospital, Gn. Fuvahmulah 
• Male’ City Hospitals, Male City 

 
Interested candidates are requested to submit their application by 1.30 p.m. on August 1, 2021.
