Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan
Last night at the inauguration ceremony, Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan graced the launching event and shared encouraging words with the students. He highlighted the importance of not only being book-educated, but also in making yourselves aware of the many opportunities ahead of graduating from school. He endorsed the Next Step Expo by stating that it is a one-stop opportunity for students to interact and learn from experts and professionals in their fields and obtain knowledge on how to prepare to build a career that will be most suitable for them.
Minister also thanked Clique College for conducting the expo virtually despite the many challenges amid a pandemic.
Following the Minister’s speech, the President of Clique College, Dr. Naushad Mohamed addressed the ceremony. He envisioned the expo to be a light at the end of the tunnel for those students who even though graduated, find their future plans to be vague. Instead of following someone else’s pathway, this expo will cultivate a passion for the participants by making them aware of what their interests are and what can be done with it as a successful career. The expo covers a diverse range of topics and fields and aims to help students make informed decisions about their careers.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by the Dean of Clique College, Dhunya Hameed.
